Databases in Focus: EMIS University

The UniSA Library Databases in Focus series showcases features of databases available to UniSA students and staff. These concise one-hour workshops provide the opportunity to explore what these powerful literature search tools can offer for study, teaching, and research.

EMIS University

EMIS University is an emerging markets business intelligence database that contains analysis, data, reports and news on companies, industries and countries. It offers a collation of time-sensitive, hard-to-get, relevant news, research and data, peer comparisons, and features a suite of data analysis tools. 

Attend this session to:

  • discover why and when to use EMIS
  • practice searching basic and advanced searching options 
  • explore the Company, Industry and Country panels to:
    • create tailored lists,
    • build custom reports,
    • analyse and compare data
