Publishing with impact: insights from UniSA's researchers

This workshop features a guest speaker who shares tips for those new to publishing to help you maximise your opportunities to be published with impact. Speakers are UniSA researchers with experience in publishing - as authors, peer reviewers and editors. Selected top tips from other UniSA researchers and UniSA Library will also be featured. Questions welcome!

Guest speaker: Dr Michele Jarldorn is an Early Career Researcher with UniSA: Justice and Society whose research focusses on the experiences of women leaving prison, the connection between gendered violence and substance use and the experiences of women who are studying in the social sciences who are first in family to study at university. Her PhD thesis was awarded the Flinders University Vice Chancellors Prize for Thesis Excellence.

Michele has published in a variety of formats, including journal articles, book chapters, and a solely authored book Photovoice Handbook for Social Workers, the first monograph to assess the role of Photovoice as part of social work practice.
