Metrics for grant applicants
A 45-minute online workshop to assist researchers navigate the metrics ecosystem with greater ease and explore the strengths and limitations of a range of metrics. The workshop will cover:
- an overview of available metrics
- considerations in choosing appropriate metrics to meet grant application requirements
- key benchmarking metrics enabling demonstration of relative performance, at both the author and individual publication level (e.g. Category Normalized Citation Impact (CNCI))
- demonstration of how to generate metrics from InCites, Web of Science, Scopus and Altmetric Explorer
